About Me

My photo
Well, I'm so far behind on my blogs now that 56 has come and is quickly moving on by. Where does the time go? Thankful for the changes wrought in me by the Holy Spirit since April 14, 1990. Thankful for the gifts He has bestowed on me, a beautiful and loving wife of almost 37 years, three fine and very talented children, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and five adorable grand-children (2 girls and 3 boys), and finally a gift of art and appreciation of music, and as my daughter would attest to.... a comment about everything.

Don't give up on This Old Stone House!

Yes I know it appears that nothing is going on here, and in terms of what hasn't changed on my blog, there hasn't been.

However, our Utility Room remodel was a success, and new projects are in the planning stages. The most important of
which is installing a new roof, safely. This is requiring a lot of research, planning for and purchasing the right equipment;
such as an MSA Roofers Safety Harness, and MSA Roofing Anchors. Not to mention a lot
of shingles, flashing, nails, etc. A big job ahead. Pictures to follow. It will bring a new look to This Old Stone House.

The internet is such a wonderful tool when locating hard to find information.

Stay tuned. (Compare pictures below to previous post!)

    Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I haven't updated the blog with the roofing pictures yet. Hope to in the next week or so. This was the largest home remodeling project I have ever taken on. But the roofing is behind us (except for some clean up in the back yard yet) and it is on to other projects.

  9. Thank you so much for the note left on my blog and the prayers and thoughts for the people of Christchurch.
    It is nice to meet you and I enjoy the love and friendship from your beautiful wife, Deanna.
    Your stone home is beautiful and you are doing such a lovely job of the restoration.
    Has so much character, that you do not get with modern homes.

    Have a lovely week
