About Me

My photo
Well, I'm so far behind on my blogs now that 56 has come and is quickly moving on by. Where does the time go? Thankful for the changes wrought in me by the Holy Spirit since April 14, 1990. Thankful for the gifts He has bestowed on me, a beautiful and loving wife of almost 37 years, three fine and very talented children, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and five adorable grand-children (2 girls and 3 boys), and finally a gift of art and appreciation of music, and as my daughter would attest to.... a comment about everything.

Picture and text completed....

Whew!  That was a work out.  Like I said, I'm picky.  The only way I could get the font colors and
image to work together was to manipulate it in OmniGraffle then export it as a jpeg file, crop with in Preview to the size I wanted then install it in place of Title and Description.

I'm happy with the results, and I was told it looked like a magazine cover.  I'll take that.

Want to welcome my three blog followers!  Hopefully in time there will be more, and more to comment on.

It's been a busy Saturday morning already, warm for January.  What little snow we had on Friday has melted away.  Spent the morning playing with our Airedales, Samson, Delilah, Bear and Emmitt, cleaning their kennels and filling water tubs.  They are in a fiesty mood today, must be the weather, or maybe it's our rabbit that lives under the bush at the corner of the back yard.  Oh how they love to chase it.  I think it is more of a game than an actual attempt to catch it.

Well, I need to get back to enjoying my coffee with my lovely wife and make plans for our 3 day week-end, what we would like to do and accomplish.

Later.

Working on the graphics...

Being an artist by gifting and training, I found myself getting quite picky with the fonts, colors, borders, etc.  Of course I am thinking, why won't it do this, or why can't I do that?  That's me.... fussing over the details.  But that can be a good thing too as you will see when I show pictures of how my wife and I transformed the utility room.  I say room rather loosely, it was a porch that was turned into a room.  5' wide and 13' long with the inside wall being native limestone.  But I will save all of that blab for later.

This blog thing could turn out to be a lot of fun.  I had a website a couple of years ago to advertise our Airedale Terrier puppies, but the technical issues were much more difficult to deal with. This seems much more straight forward.

Well that's probably it for today, have other issues that need my attention.  Stay tuned, more to come.

Getting Started....

As with the old stone house, much to do.  This is my first attempt at a blog so we will just have to see how it progresses.
